- Heat oil in a pan over medium heat. Add onions and fry until they turn golden brown.
- Add ginger garlic paste and sauté for a few minutes until the raw smell goes away.
- Add tomatoes and fry until they turn mushy.
- Add coriander powder, cumin powder, turmeric powder, and red chilli powder. Fry for a few seconds until the spices are well roasted.
- Add the tamarind pulp and 1 cup of water. Mix well and let it come to a boil.
- Add the fish pieces and green chillies to the pan. Mix well and simmer for 10-12 minutes until the fish is cooked through.
- Adjust the salt and spice level as per your taste. Add more water if required to get the desired consistency.
- Garnish with chopped coriander leaves and serve hot with steamed rice or roti.

- You can use any firm white fish for this recipe. Make sure to clean and cut the fish into small pieces before adding it to the curry.
